Alice is ending swim lessons this summer in level 1, which focuses on increasing overall comfort in the water, especially with getting a swimmers face/head in the water using our underwater progression (shoulders, chin, mouth, nose, ears, eyes, and finally the entire head). In level 1, she is either still learning or has mastered the following skills: supported front float, supported back float, going underwater unassisted, and going underwater and recovering to standing without touching the bottom. Overall, we are proud of her progress this summer and hope she continues to learn to swim in the future!
