Creating graphic posters for pool rules, more eye catching and appealing for patrons.
Candidate: Reed Galasinski
Related Goal: Reed Galasinski : Improving communication between employees and patrons to help enforce rules and regulations.
Reed’s first task is creating posters for pool rules that are commonly broken and overlooked. Examples of this consist of running on the pool deck, eating on the pool deck, double bouncing, and laying on ropes/lane lines. His approach is to create visually appealing posters/graphics with these specific rules that can be put next to the lengthy list of rules at both pools that are commonly disregarded. I believe a more eye catching poster for patrons will have them coming into the pool with the knowledge of what they can and cannot do.
Additionally, Reed and I are developing a potential script for managers to announce during busy days (especially camp), that announces common rules and keeps everyone safe. This idea will keep both pools on the same track and allow for consistency of monitoring rules.

Task Evaluation:

Reed completed these posters as his initial task, but with advisement, we are redoing this idea! Instead Reed will be creation graphics using images, that can be supplementary to current Pool Rules list. Rather than adding more signage, we will be creating a greater visual appeal to what we already have.
