Maria is ending swim lessons this summer in level 3, which focuses on swimming greater lengths of basic strokes, and starting to learn arms and legs for more complicated strokes. In level 3, she is either still learning or has mastered the following skills: front crawl 8 meters with side breathing, back crawl 8 meters, demonstrate “11, eat, 11” (breaststroke arms), demonstrate breaststroke kick on the edge of the pool, and demonstrate butterfly arms. Overall, we are proud of her progress this summer and hope she continues to learn to swim in the future!
