Nolan is ending swim lessons this summer in level 1, which focuses on increasing overall comfort in the water, especially with getting a swimmers face/head in the water using our underwater progression (shoulders, chin, mouth, nose, ears, eyes, and finally the entire head). In level 1, he is either still learning or has mastered the following skills: supported front float, supported back float, going underwater unassisted, and going underwater and recovering to standing without touching the bottom. Overall, we are proud of his progress this summer and hope he continues to learn to swim in the future!

G: Be a part of a group activity like Bake a Cake
G: Follow instructions and play a three step game like “Treasure Hunt.”
G: Independent water exploration in chest deep water with supervision
G: Lay flat on your back in zero-depth water with ears underwater.
