Wren will be ending this summer in Level 1! This level is dedicated to improving a swimmer’s comfort in the water, as well as their ability to consistently put their head/face in the water. We practice these skills using games made to foster confidence and independence as well as incorporating our underwater progression, which starts at their shoulders, then their chin, nose, ears, eyes, and finally the entire head. In level 1, she is either still practicing or has mastered her supported floats on his front and back, going underwater and going underwater and recovering to standing unassisted. She has been working hard this summer and we are so proud of her progress!

G: Be a part of a group activity like Bake a Cake
G: Follow instructions and play a three step game like “Treasure Hunt.”
G: Independent water exploration in chest deep water with supervision
G: Lay flat on your back in zero-depth water with ears underwater.
