Reed Galasinski : Meeting (3)

Candidate: Reed Galasinski

Related Goal: Reed Galasinski : Improving communication between employees and patrons to help enforce rules and regulations.

Aubrey and I started off our meeting by going over changes of my task of making a poster for common pool rules that we see broken. After getting your feedback about preferring graphics over more signage, we decided on the idea of me making graphics online specific to Mitchell and Deerspring rules which I plan to have done before Friday. After this we started talking about my second task of making a script of our pool rules to be announced throughout the day, and at camps arrivals. We will be working together to perfect the script to leave it in such a manner that enforces rules amongst our patrons while also leaving a positive note that lets them know we just want them to be safe.

In regards to my leadership goal during Fridays All-Staff Meeting we decided that a rule themed scavenger hunt would best suit my goal. The plan was to make groups of concessions workers and give them rule based riddles which will lead them to different parts of the pool. For example, “No bouncing more than once on me”, and the next clue would next to the high dive at top. The winning team will be bought one free concession stand item by me (if allowed) to help encourage teamwork and community building among my co-workers. Aubrey and I believe that this scavenger hunt is a great idea which focuses on my main goal of improving rule enforcement by reminding my co-workers of our rules through a fun game, which also encouraging teamwork and understanding everyones strengths.

Aubrey-

Reed has a great understanding of what needs to be accomplished moving forward. His All-Staff activity will help demonstrate his leadership and organizational skills, of which I am looking forward to seeing.
